One Hoop At A Time – Teamwork Counts (A Lot!)
The strength of the team is each individual member. The strength of each member is the team.”
– Phil Jackson
In order to get better, I realized I needed a team.
Alone, the willpower to get things done diminishes. You just lose the energy. You don’t get up in the morning because you’re tired, and depressed.
Medication takes a lot of energy out of you, and the same old routine is boring.
Also, we can hold onto things that seem silly to other people, but it’s something that we may still have control of, so we hold on to it. Sometimes we do things that might not be best for us in the long run, but we do it out of spite.
That’s why I realized I needed a team, I needed other people to give me feedback.
And, whether I liked what I heard or not, I had to listen to it if I wanted to get better.
